I had Brian pierce my ears for me and it was an absolutely perfect experience. I was a little nervous but he was very calm and talked me through it. Any help from anyone reading would be Super appreciated. A month ago, I got an industrial piercing. It was swollen, crusty, etc. And for the first 3-5 days it felt fine. After a week, I was having a lot of pressure, so much so I couldn't handle it. I pulled my ear from the top and pushed the barbell (gently) away and noticed I had a very red, very itchy bump where the bar was touching my ear. I asked the piercer and he said that I was allergic to the metal (I have had my ear pierced mutiple times and have several face & body piercings...and NEVER had any type of reaction like this) and that I had to take it out. Not wanting to lose my piercing and waste $40, I slid the industrial jewelry out and replaced it with 2 new and sterilized 14 gauge barbells. The pressure was gone right away and my ear was feeling much better after a few days. I thought I was healing and everything was going to be fine. The top hole is healing nicely, I can press on it and it doesn't hurt. It's still slightly crusty, but I clean it every day. The bottom hole however has a soft white (like the color of a whitehead pimple) bump on the inside of my ear. I clean it twice daily with bactine and also apply a cotton ball with hot sea salt water. It hurts, is very crusty. I really don't want to take it out and I don't think it's infected. Is there something I can do to get rid of the bump and also get rid of the pain and excess crustiness? Like I said, any help or tips that anyone reading cab provide would be greatly appreciated.

okay so i got this piercing and the labret stud was way too small to take up the swelling.Three days later the piercing started sinking in my lip,thankfully i got it removed(it was very painful).I had it replaced with a longer bar but it still kind of slightly embeds my lip.Now there is a small bruise on my outer lip and it kind of stings,is this normal PLEASE EMAIL ME(because im getting eally worried)

erica...yes when you have recently gotten ur tounge piericed it sometimes has a blood clot or blister form on the bottom and top. that is normal seeing that u just stuck a needle thru it lol...just make sure u clean it normally...

My tragus has been pierced for 3 years now.. and I feel that it has never fully healed. The area around insertion point is slightly swelled, pink and tender, and has been so since a month after I first got it pierced. Is there any remedy for this? The original barbell is still in place.. I am reluctant to change it cause it usually bleeds a little and stings when I attempt to change it. At this point, I just wonder if its a lost cause.. although I love how the piercing looks, its been more of a nuisance. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

My left lip I have had pierced for two months. It has recently swelled, and has formed a small pinkish bump on the inside. The swelling has gone down alot since I have been soaking it in sea salt. But I have ran out, and I will be getting more soon. I also brush my teeth and use diluted listerine if I don't brush my teeth after I eat or drink something (excluding water) Could these bumps be from trauma, or is it a form of a keloid? I just got my tongue pierced on Friday and today is Sunday, my tongue is swollen and it hurts really bad, and all I usually eat is steak or pizza and I can't even eat that because it is to hard to chew. And just to let everyone know, it doesn't hurt to get it done but it sure does hurt afterwards and swells up pretty nice.

helppppp. i got my lip pierced roughly two weeks ago. it was doing fine until this past weekend, i decided to drink & smoke cigarettes, without washing it. now it's all haggard & infected & shit. i went to the doctor today & got amoxicillin. he told me to take it out, but i'd rather wait to see if this medicine helps before i go to the extreme of just taking it out. i need some reassurance. has anybody used amoxicillin for a piercing infection before? i'm hoping it works.
